What is a Mental Disorder?

Mental disorder or illness is a condition like any other medical problem in which there is a change of thinking process of a person, emotions or behavior in some cases. The basic two factors that are responsible for this illness are stress and anxiety. It affects the daily activity of a person, relations, and results in social isolation. Neurons Dysfunction:

The signals in body are transmitted by neurons network and in some cases, impaired neurons cause impaired function of nerve receptors and nerve systems to change and it leads to depression.

What is Mental Health First Aid? 

Onsite Mental Health First Aid is a training program that usually educates the people how to treat the people developing the mental illness or to know the condition of the mentally ill person. It teaches how to offer initial help to persons and to reduce their anxiety. 

Course outline

The course outline includes the discussion for the early signs and symptoms of mental illness, support options to calm the mind of a person and the process of how to approach the mentally ill person. It also includes studying behavioral changes of person and finding the environmental factors that are causing the disorder.

Most mental health issues are not severe and before the conditiongets worse it is crucial to solve the issue and now many organizations hire mental health first aider to keep the staff work properly.
